FEES

Do you work outside office hours or offer a lower rate?

Yes. We have provisional psychologists who offer working-hours, evenings and after-hours appointments at a rate lower than those of fully registered psychologists, and often with less wait times.

Research has shown that clients receiving therapy from supervised provisional psychologists achieve outcomes comparable to those seeing fully registered psychologists (Buckley et al., 2006).

Cancellation policy

Time and resources reserved for each session often cannot be re-allocated to waitlisted clients at short notice. Late cancellations incur a fee based on the hourly session rate:

80% within 48 hrs

100% within 24 hrs

For NDIS funding, cancellation within 48 hours will be charged as a full NDIS session fee based on the latest NDIS Guidelines.

What is the cost?

The industry recommended rates per session are between $318 (APS, 2025-2026) and $340 (AAPi, 2026-2027). Our fees are:

Clinic Director

For private health insurance, speak to your provider about rebates.

How long / frequent ?

Weekly therapy best meets the needs of most people. So far, we find half of the clients come weekly, and half prefer to come fortnightly.

The suggested length of treatment varies widely depending on the severity of the presenting concern, how deep rooted it is and whether it is limited in scope.  As a result, therapy duration ranges from a few months to a year or more.
